The Shopping Mall

I was at Alamanda to see the 'soft' opening of THE SHOPPING MALL of Putrajaya. Apart from the non-existence PA (can't hardly make out whatever the person's speeches was all about) the yellow clad ladies of the complex personnel made the event bearable till the end (end here means until the makan time - its free lunch everybody!) Anyway the yellow clad ladies sure can take on the MAS stewardesses anytime .wink wink
I think that place will be full each time at lunch - with all the govt employees making the bee line (the end of Anjung and Souq?) come night time, that is another story. Unless Bangi, Sepang, Serdang and even Puchong folks managed to find their way to Parcel Z (which I doubt unless its a weekend thing)
The parking layout and location is good (Malaysian shoppers don't want to walk far to entrance) except for the fine dining restaurants located outside the mall area. Other than that the minimalist design is interesting. The abundant amount of sunlight entering the mall area creates an outdoor 'feeling' indoors. The only thing is that repair works are being carried out here and there (plus almost 50% of the shoplots still being boarded up for renovation) and I think the center court need more sitting benches.
ps -
my wife want to see this yellow clad ladies herself when I told her about them. he he he
